Number of the Day

The Mathematical Association of America maintains a blog dedicated to publishing trivia about numbers. Every working day, the editors of present a number along with its properties.  As an example, last Friday’s number was 1117.  This is a prime number.  In fact, it is the smallest four-digit prime that consists of two (different) two-digit primes.  My favorite fact: 1117 is the smallest four-digit Unholey prime.  (Unholey numbers do not have holes in their digits.)
