The University of Georgia is providing a 3-week science and mathematics program for college-bound high school students this summer, July 6-24, M-F, 8:30 A.M. to 12 noon. There is no admission fee for this program. It is available to rising high school juniors and seniors (this year’s 10th and 11th grade students). Participants will participate in a variety of math and science activities conducted by UGA faculty, will learn about math- and science-related careers, and will practice leading small group activities. This sounds like an excellent opportunity for any ACS sophomores or juniors who are interested in careers or college majors that require a math and/or science background. For more information and the application forms, contact Mr. Mealor or Mrs. Herring.
